“Your Life is Changing. I Can Help!”®
John Mentis, realtor®, e-PRO®, is licensed to help clients buy and sell residential real estate in Virginia and Washington, D.C. John has lived in the Washington, D.C. area for almost 30 years, drawn here by the excitement of the area’s central role in international trade and public policy in which he has both his undergraduate and graduate degrees. Through his trade association management career — which took him to over 30 countries and Capitol Hill — John developed a strong commitment to customer service and cultural sensitivity. When switching to real estate in 2003, John brought this commitment along with problem-solving strategies, ideas and experiences that he puts into practice to solve real estate challenges for clients.
Affiliated with Long & Foster Real Estate, John is a full-time, full-service realtor® whose primary goal is complete client satisfaction. He successfully serves as a buyer’s agent and listing agent by helping clients make informed decisions through his experience, effectiveness and creativity. John’s successful completion of the e-PRO® training program (endorsed by National Association of Realtors) gives him the technical skills to work with real estate on-line utilizing web sites, e-mail, on-line tools and social networks. Being an e-PRO® means that John can assist his clients wherever they are in the world.
A record of successfully closing more than 300 transactions worth over $155 million and achieving various production accolades gives him a wealth of knowledge. For 2014, John was the top listing agent, top buyer’s agent, top producer, and top sole proprietor in the Arlington Sales Office of over 100 agents. His production included nearly 40 closed sales and over $27 million in sales volume. Since 2011 he has been among the top twenty agents in Long & Foster’s Virginia/West Virginia region for both number of transactions settled and gross commission income generated.
