Are You a First-Time Virginia or D.C. Homebuyer?

Summary: Buying your first home can be scary, stressful, and confusing. I can help remove all that and turn your first time into a fun and memorable experience.
Detail: Your desire to buy a home is a commendable achievement. I work with first time homebuyers all the time. No question you have is too small or too unimportant for me to answer. Don't be embarrassed! I have the extra patience necessary -- along with a good sense of humor -- to help first time home buyers have a successful if not fun experience. Specifically, I will:
- Lead you through every step of the process.
- Help you define your "needs list" vs. your "want list" of features for your home, your neighborhood, your ideal school district, your dog park, etc. -- whatever's most important to you.
- Walk you through the mind-boggling financial details associated with buying a home, including the various mortgages and home buying programs available to you.
- Monitor all new listings and alert you to new houses as soon as they are put on the market.
- Work you through all the paperwork for the offer, including any contingencies.
- Eliminate the stress involved with buying a home by putting my years of real estate experience to work for you.
There is a lot of information out there. You may want to read through a homebuyer's guide (Virginia orD.C./Maryland) from RGS Title, Inc., a Long & Foster preferred provider. I also like The Path to Your Home: A Practical Guide to Home Buying by Gaye Newton. You'll still have to do some homework, but with me leading your team, it should all go like clockwork!
