Relocating To or From the Washington, D.C. Area?

Summary: As a Long & Foster relocation specialist, I had to first prove myself to be successful: (1) be a full time agent, (2) have at least 2 years experience in the business, (3) have at least 18 settled transactions within the past 2 years, and (4) earn the recommendation of my managing broker that I am service oriented. I have been through training that allows me to work with clients who are relocating here on their own, relocating here with a corporate relocation package, relocating out of the area with a corporate relocation package, or relocating here from overseas.
Detail: I've lived here since 1986 and I think the metropolitan D.C. area is a wonderful place to live. But don't take my word for it. The Greater Washington Initiative, a regional cooperative marketing organization that promotes the greater Washington region (the District of Columbia, Northern Virginia and suburban Maryland) as an ideal location for locating or expanding a business, has a wealth of fascinating information about the region including jobs, education, real estate, transportation, and more!
The Washington, D.C. area has been one of the few major metropolitan areas to see job growth over the past decade, which has meant a lot of people moving here. Moving is a difficult event for everyone, but I can help take some of the stress out of it whether you are moving here or leaving the area. The relocation processes are slightly difference whether you're transferring into or transferring out of the area.
