Location of Pentagon City:
Roughly speaking, Pentagon City is bordered on the west by Army Navy Drive, on the north by I-395, on the east by Eads Street, and on the south by 15th Street and Arlington Ridge Road. As the name suggests, the neighborhood borders the Pentagon.

As of August 19, 2008, over the past 30 days eleven homes sold, ranging from a 2 bed unit (The Cavendish condo) for $299,000 to a 4 bed colonial style single family detached home (Aurora Hills) for $939,000. Six homes were under contract ranging from a 3 bed unit (Southampton condo) listed for $485,000 to a 7 bed colonial style single family detached home (Top of Arlington Ridge) listed for $1.65 million. On August 19, 2008, 38 homes were for sale, ranging from an efficiency/studio unit (The Cavendish condo) listed for $200,000 to a 5 bed federal style single family detached home (Aurora Hills) listed for $2.0 million. Notes on Pentagon City:
The amount of change that has come to the Pentagon City area in the past few years has been amazing. A large amount of shopping, restaurants, and services have been added as well as new rental properties. Harris Teeter and Costco are the major grocery stores here, along with any number of specialty shops and restaurants. The majority of housing in Pentagon City are mid-rise condos (e.g., The Cavendish, Horizon House, The Representative, and Ridge House), but there a few townhouse condos as well. Just south of Pentagon City are the established neighborhoods of Addison Heights, Aurora Hills, Oakcrest, and Top of the Ridge; these neighborhoods are dominated by single family detached homes although there are pockets of townhouses and duplexes.
Pentagon City is serviced by the Pentagon City Metro station as well as Metrobus. National Airport is a 5 minute drive. The George Washington Parkway, I-395, Washington Boulevard, Rte. 1 /Jefferson Davis Highway, and Rte. 110 are all within a 5 minute drive of Pentagon City.
