  • I am qualified to help you buy a home, sell a home, or rent a home. I serve as a buyer's agent to help clients buy homes. I serve as a listing agent to help clients sell homes. As time allows, I help clients find renters for their investment properties. I have a number of clients who have been very pleased with my services.
      
  • I am a full time real estate agent.  My compensation is 100% commission, not salary, so I am motivated to get your transaction to completion. Since one of the most important marketing tools I have is my reputation, I work to make sure you're happy -- whether that takes 1 week or 2 years.  Testimonials from my happy clients speak for themselves.
      
  • I am a Realtor®.  The term is a registered collective membership mark that identifies me as a real estate professional who is a member of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION of REALTORS® and a subscriber to its strict Code of Ethics. The Code establishes time-honored and baseline principles that come from the collective experiences of REALTORS® since the Code of Ethics was first established in 1913. Those principles can be loosely defined as:  (1) loyalty to clients; (2) fiduciary (legal) duty to clients; (3) cooperation with competitors; (4) truthfulness in statements and advertising; and (5) non-interference in exclusive relationships REALTORS® have with their clients.
      
  • I have lived in the Washington, D.C. area for more than 20 years.  I have personally experienced John Mentis, a great realtor for northern Virginia and Washington, D.C.a lot of what this region has to offer. Originally drawn by the excitement of the area's central role in international trade and public policy, I have traveled to more than 30 countries on 6 continents -- as well as up and down Pennsylvania Avenue from the Capitol to the White House in pursuit of public policy goals. Because of this work, I developed and internalized a strong commitment to customer service.  I switched to real estate so that I could put into practice for myself the various strategies and ideas I honed in program and association management.  I enjoy the problem-solving aspect of real estate where I am challenged each day to find a way to match each client's needs with current market conditions.
      
  • I have three basic personal goals:  (1) to improve the lives of people in need, I support the American Cancer Society and Homestretch, Inc.; (2) to encourage tolerance and understanding, I support the Human Rights Campaign and Seeds of Peace; and (3) to minimize human impact on the environment, I support the Land Trust of Virginia and the Potomac Conservancy.  I drive a gas-electric hybrid vehicle and I try to plant my home garden with native plants.
