The Code establishes time-honored and baseline principles that come from the collective experiences of REALTORS® since the Code of Ethics was first established in 1913. Those principles can be loosely defined as: (1) loyalty to clients; (2) fiduciary (legal) duty to clients; (3) cooperation with competitors; (4) truthfulness in statements and advertising; and (5) non-interference in exclusive relationships REALTORS® have with their clients.
I have lived in the Washington, D.C. area for more than 20 years.I have personally experienced a lot of what this region has to offer. Originally drawn by the excitement of the area's central role in international trade and public policy, I have traveled to more than 30 countries on 6 continents -- as well as up and down Pennsylvania Avenue from the Capitol to the White House in pursuit of public policy goals. Because of this work, I developed and internalized a strong commitment to customer service. I switched to real estate so that I could put into practice for myself the various strategies and ideas I honed in program and association management. I enjoy the problem-solving aspect of real estate where I am challenged each day to find a way to match each client's needs with current market conditions.
